NCI Group Photography

I was contacted by NCI Group, a Houston based company needing some photography in the Denver area. I provided drone as well as ground photography for them. NCI designs, manufacture and market a comprehensive line of metal buildings and components for the nonresidential construction industry.

I went out to Parker, Colorado to photograph a stable complex which incorporated the building materials NCI manufactured. Here are a few images taken in a span of a few hours on location.

Vancouver & Victoria Photo Trek

Join me on the fantastic trek breathtaking trek through British Columbia. We'll be visiting the beautiful and vibrant city of Vancouver with its unique architecture. Vancouver is a special mix of eastern and western influences set on the Pacific coastline with towering mountains!

We will also be visiting Victoria, the provincial capital. We'll be visiting the Butchart Gardens, a unique botanical garden set in an abandoned quarry-simply beautiful! We'll cruise the Juan de Fuca strait looking for orcas, humpback, minkes and exceptional vistas. We will do a night shoot of Parliament, which is spectacularly lit at night.

Then we will head inland to a local falconry, for a unique chance to photograph birds of prey close by. We will also attend a demonstration of their unique abilities. We will also stop by a local equestrian farm, to photograph thoroughbred and quite possibly a horse show!

Drone Photography

I've been busy shooting for several clients asking for aerial "Drone" photography. I was recently in Kentucky shooting a Amazon Fulfillment Center and in Florida shooting a shopping mall and storage facilities.

I've been flying a drone for a few years now, my latest craft is a DJI Phantom 4 Pro +. The build-in camera shoots a 20 MP image and shoots 4K video. I just love this drone, the images are just gorgeous.

From Miami, I drove to the west coast and photographed a few storage locations while visiting my sister.

Before I headed home to Denver, I spent the night in Ft. Lauderdale at a hotel located on the beach. Here are a few images from the beach.

I actually had so much fun flying, when I got home I went flying around my community.

Mentor Series Russia & Estonia

I am currently guiding a Mentor Series Trek to Russia and Estonia. I have arrived a few days early to do some personal photography before the actual trip starts with my guests. Moscow is a huge city, a beautiful city with a lot of traffic. Everything here is large, streets, buildings, city blocks and monuments. If you come to Moscow, be prepared to walk your feet off. Energy Shoot in Wattenberg Field

Earlier in July, I spent a full day shooting for a long time energy client. Just north of Denver is a production field know as the Wattenberg Field. I met my client at a local restaurant in the town of Johnstown, Colorado. After lunch, we scouted 4 different oil rigs as well as a frac job and a production area.

After scouting, my client left me on my own to finish the day shooting up to sunset. I selected locations that allowed the best angles to use the sun. The photo above was shot the following morning at sunrise. Shortly after the sun broke the horizon, I pulled out my drone for a quick flight of the same rig shown above.

I've been flying a drone for about 2 years now, don't get enough time or opportunity to use it on assignment. Not only is it fun to fly, I love the perspective.
